Jay Hewitt is an Ironman battling brain cancer. He has become well versed in resilience through his own experience and achievements. He has learned how to overcome the odds and believes anything is possible. As a national speaker he enjoys helping others find opportunity in obstacles and strength in weakness.

Jay is a pastor in Orange County California. He and his wife Natalie are enjoying the joys and surprises that come with being parents. Their daughter Hero already has him wrapped around her little finger, which is alright with him, as long as she will always watch basketball with him.

Jay recently competed in IRONMAN while undergoing cancer treatment for terminal brain cancer. At his weakest he achieved what seemed impossible even at his best. Since completing the 140.6 mile triathlon as an IRONMAN Foundation spotlight athlete he has been featured on ESPN, Newsweek and numerous news outlets and podcasts. An internationally award-winning feature length documentary based on Jay’s life will be distributed in late 2023. He is the author of the book, “I Am Weak, I Am Strong” which will be published and made available in November of 2023. It is always his aim to bring glory to God and help people develop a resilient faith for a resilient life.
